How To Start
We have a 30 minute chat to discover where your business is leaking time and revenue. I perform a public analysis to enrich the findings, and present you with a report. Yours to keep for free, regardless of whether you decide to work with me.
Once I have the outline of the work, I'll investigate every supporting department and conduct interviews with the appropriate team leads, to complete the picture my audit revealed. Once discovery is complete, I get to work building the systems that help you the most. This is the heaviest work up front, and I'll be involved with you and your team intimately.
I then take ownership over the revisions, customizations, and team training to ensure that adoption is successful. If a system requires maintenance or updates, that's included in the retainer.
You end up owning all of it: the systems running on your own infrastructure, under your accounts, with a runbook, an architecture guide and onboarding docs for whoever picks it up next. That happens whether or not you keep me on a retainer.
What It Takes
This needs you, and it needs your team. Anybody who tells you otherwise is selling you a sunk cost. I have watched a perfectly good system sit idle and unused because it was built and shipped without the accountability and training that ensures adoption.
I smooth out the blocked operational streams until everything converges, I make sure everyone on your team knows how it runs, and I keep revising and reworking it until it runs without me.
The Guarantee
If the system we scoped is not producing what we said it would, I keep working until it does.
Before You Book
There's a set-up cost and then a retainer or maintenance fee. Set-up is priced according to what the work requires and is usually where the bulk of it happens. The retainer depends on what's being built, and plenty of systems need nothing at all once they're running. It's all scoped out at the beginning, from the analysis in discovery.
Most of the work is planning. I have to really understand your systems and your SOPs to a T, and then I set the whole thing up and run it end to end until it's tested and performs properly, before it's released. I'll give you a timeline once I've seen the size of the job, with updates on progress at regular intervals.
Time, and your department leads. I do a full analysis of your operations, and if you've got multiple departments I want to meet each lead. After that you've got somebody in your corner who knows what they're doing so that we can customize the systems perfectly for their needs.
You tell me and I fix it. Some systems need no maintenance at all once they're running. The ones that do get either an hourly fee for small stuff or a retainer, and the retainer is significantly smaller than the build.
No. People either don't know what it's capable of, or they don't want to touch it, and they're missing a huge lever they could pull for their business. I give you mock ups after the initial analysis so you can see what it could look like.
